Chili Rasbora (Boraras brigittae)

The Chili Rasbora is a popular tropical freshwater fish. Bororas Brigittae is a species of ray-finned fish in the genus Boraras. They are also known as Chili Rasboras or Mosquito Rasboras. 

These fish are beautiful, small in size and easy to care for. The average lifespan is between 4 and 8 years. 

Females have round bellies and lighter colouring compared to males. The males are a more brightly coloured red and are smaller in size when compared to the females. The males also have red spots throughout the fins.

The Chili Rasbora grows to around 1.7cm long, making these fish excellent nano fish.
