The Red Neon Blue Eye (Pseudomugil luminatus) is a unique variant of the Blue Eye native to New Guinea and Indonesia. It thrives in large schools amidst dense vegetation, making it an excellent addition to planted aquariums, particularly those with floating plants providing cover. Male Red Neon Blue Eye display vibrant neon red to red-orange and blue coloration, especially during competitive displays with other males.
